    We're going to beat Chelsea.

Then when Manchester City lose to Everton, we're going to secure the title at Crystal Palace making our game against Newcastle a carnival.

With the pressure off, Pardew being a **** manager and their players on holiday, we celebrate picking the title up at Anfield on the back of a record 10-0 win.

Without being negative here. I can't help but feel we're going to cock this up somewhere along the line and drop points.

I know we're playing well and scoring lots but it's just a feeling I've got. I'd be very surprised if we went unbeaten in the next 4 games. We really need Chelsea and City to slip up further along the lines.

        It's not done yet.

        Anyone else feel the same?

That not being negative thing didn't last long there did it

The only game that worries me is the Chelsea game. I'm sure they'll use every trick in the book to try and disrupt us.

I'm sure you'll join me in hoping our favourite pitch invader has got his ticket for the Norwich game:

Best just think of the Norwich game and nothing more.

But, if you want something to worry about, and I mean really worry about.......don't think about Chelsea.....think about the game against Crystal Palace.

            Away.

We go in fresh from another couple of victories.

3-1 defeat wrote all over it.

I wonder who the 3 were that Fergie thought were the 'building blocks' for those '8 arrivals' to play with

I just don't see Chelsea winning at Anfield and I don't think City will win out so I think a draw in one of the 4 will still be enough.

If we beat Chelsea and Norwich and if City drop points against Palace or Everton then it might not even matter!

I hate looking ahead as such, but I guess the main issue lies around the timing of our game with Chelsea and City's with Everton.
They're about a week apart meaning that if we slip up against Chelsea and only pick up a point, City can do real damage to our title hopes by going all out against Everton the following week and getting the win they'd need.

This is assuming that all other games are won of course, but looking at the best case scenario, it'll be at Everton where City will drop points.............but I don't want to rely on that needing to happen which would be the case if we **** up the week before.

Good thing is I suppose, is that Chelsea can't really eek out a draw at Anfield which is just gravy for our approach, as it'll be no good to them. Factor in possible CL distraction and we should be confident of continuing our winning streak through that game.

Chelsea is the equivalent to that piece of **** under your shoe that just won't scrape off. You scrape and scrape and think "it's gone now" only to realise that the annoying thing is still there. Chelsea shouldn't be where they are. You think Surely they should've shrivelled up by now, but no, they get dodgy penalties (WBA), free kicks (Everton) or opposing team sent off like yesterday and they still manage to scrape through. It would be an absolute travesty if they win it.
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

**** it, I'm going all in now. I have no choice but to believe 100% that we will beat the four teams remaining.

If we lose or draw I will console myself with the fact that we are in the CL and we have made ourselves known to the rest of Europe.

But we're going to win it and the smug cunt Mourinho can go **** himself.

We managed to scrape off Spurs, Arsenal and Everton. We just need to keep scraping!

                                Let's say we're without both Henderson and Sturridge for our next 3 games. Allen is definitely the right replacement for Jordan, how ubout up front? We have Aspas and Moses who are forwards, and Lucas/Alberto/Texeira who could form a part of the diamond formation;

                                ---Gerrard
                                Lucas----Allen
                                ---Coutinho

                                It could also be
                                -------Gerrard
                                ---Cout-----Allen
                                Sterling-Suarez-Moses?

The first one is probably what Rodgers will go with, but who do we bring on if we're chasing a result? We have some experienced, but off-form players (Aspas, Moses) and some decent talent with little or no experience whatsoever (Tex, Alberto, Peterson, Dunn, Ibe...). Tough one.
