Me too. I live in an apartment block and bump into a Chelsea fan every other morning. He's been reasonable enough up to this week. On Monday, he said "Your lot were celebrating like you won something at the weekend" and "You did us a favour. We just need City to slip up again now" followed by "Well, if we don't win it, I hope you do" as we haven't bought our way to it.

Do you really think any player / manager / team goes to a football game and doesn't try and win? I doubt any player doesn't give it their all as soon as they take to the field as adrenaline takes over. To even suggest this as a reason (unless they are throwing it for a financial gain) I think is daft.

I know football is a tribal game but it amazes me the herd mentality of fans. I know a few Chelsea supporters and they don't know each other but they all to a man think Maureen is an untouchable genius, all think Rafa is **** and all think that their style of football ie boring defensive ****e is the epitome of the European game.
Mind you other fans probably accuse us all of being the same.
