I don't believe in destiny as well, but confidence is purely based on the form we've been in the last 11 games.

Don't forget our easy run at the start of the season that our own fans kept pointing to as giving us a false position. Think that easy start lasted until about December before people started accepting we got where we were on merit.Originally posted by PTP View Post
for weeks/months everyone has been saying - can liverpool handle the pressure, at some point they will crack - chelsea/city been here before etc etc
.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Agree. Playing for a draw, playing defensively goes against the grain of the way we play.Originally posted by Pablo1981 View PostIt's a funny one psychologically when you know a draw will do. I hope it doesn't play on their minds. Don't get me wrong I'd snap up a draw now if offered, but we need to be going for the jugular again. It's how we perform best.

i think this team only goes one way - out to win.
i also think whilst we are a bit panicky as fans - i guarentee that chelsea will be just as scared if not more so that they have to come to us....likewise city having to face everton away.
it's nice knowing that a loss won't cost us the league. one loss and two wins puts on 86 points and means chelsea can't catch us and city would have to win 4 on the trot for it to go to GD.
I too would take a draw right now. 0-0, incident free - move on to crystal palace
not sure if i'll be able to watch it Sunday
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

To be fair to you mate you've been saying for pretty much the last 5 or 6 games, perhaps more that you're confident we're going to win it.Originally posted by Pablo1981 View PostSorry to drone on about statistics again, but we're odds on favourites now for a reason. We probably win this from here 8 or 9 times out of ten statistically. To blow a lead like this with three games left is pretty unheard of. If anyone can do it though, it's probably us
This season feels different though, it feels special. We kind of lose that feeling midweek when we're inbetween games again, the nerves set in, but as soon as the lads step out on the pitch you're reminded of it again.
I'm nervous now, but once we kick off I'll be reminded again that we are head and shoulders the best team in the league this season, and the champions elect!
I really didn't think it was possible, we haven't won it yet of course and we have a difficult 3 games ahead but we have Chelsea at home and we are flying, we will play well Sunday and we will win I am sure of that but think it's Palace where might slip up but overall I think we will win it.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

The Palace game is looking annoyingly tough. But if we get the result against Chelsea I think we'll be on such a high we'll muller them. I genuinely think now they're safe they will subconsciously start to wind down now. If we get off to our familiar fast start we could hammer them.Originally posted by Slinky Skills View PostTo be fair to you mate you've been saying for pretty much the last 5 or 6 games, perhaps more that you're confident we're going to win it.

This Chelsea game is the one. I hate hyperbole but it's probably one of the biggest game's in the clubs history all things considered.
