I feel like ****. Emotionally destroyed, hearbroken, sick to my stomach, not even slightly better than I was on Sunday after the final whistle. I don't know what to do, I'm got drunk and it's even worse. I'd rather see us relegated than see Gerrard slip up and give them the goal. It's only football but it's so much more than that, it's the opposition fans, that ugly grey cunt Mourinho, John Terry in his full footballing gear, 24 years of not winning the league, the bus-parking-anti-football and a twisted sick satanic plot twist that saw us lose control of the title despite our incredible season in the most awful way possible. I just want Stevie to win it, nothing more, and I don't see it happening anymore. **** I can't even use the internet anymore, any single word that points to Sunday's game makes me want to vomit. Get a grip! We can win the league. It might not be completely in our hands, but win both games and we put City in a position where they have to win all three of theirs. I know it sounds daft after the defeat, but I feel more positive now than I did before. Unexpected things happen in football matches, we have two games to achieve maximum points and City have three. The pressure is on them now.Originally posted by Daffy Duck View PostI feel like ****. There's no way the Bitters will throw in the towel. They've still got a chance of fourth, but only if they win. Arsenal having to play two teams in the relegation fight and if they don't win either, they can be caught. No way the Everton players will be passing up the chance to play in the CL just to ingratiate themselves with a few tools in their fanbase.

Really, **** the media who are gleefully sticking it to us. Without our sensational tilt at the title, it would just have been the usual, boring two-horse Arab oil money vs Russian oligarch money race.
We weren't given a whisper of a chance before a ball was kicked in anger. We achieved champions' league qualification, ahead of a stable Arsenal, of a 100 million pound spending Spurs. They only have their headlines because we had the courage to fail gloriously.I wear my heart on my profile name.

Sod it, it's still in our own hand's. Who say's we can't score hat fulls against Palace and Newcastle? With our strike force, anything is possible. Believe.-----------------------------------------------
'Football is a simple game based on the giving and taking of passes, of controlling the ball and of making yourself available to receive a pass. It is terribly simple.'

Still absolutely gutted. It's not just losing it, it's the manner in which it happened, if you lose because you are outplayed that's one think but that was much more difficult to take.
While I appreciate what people are saying about the remaining games, I think city have a huge advantage because of the psychological effect of that game on them and us, the players will be crushed an will take some lifting ahead of the Palace game. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Sorry but some of you are being hilariously melodramatic about all this
Shankly's famous quip was wrong, football is not more important than life and death. Take some time to reflect and see it's just a tiny part of your life. It's not healthy to obsess to this extent.
After the final whistle the other day I felt horrendous. I wandered out into the garden where my little two year old daughter was happily playing. With the sun on my face I watched her play and the angst just drifted away. As much as we love it, as much as it's a part of our lives, it's only football.
It's not over yet, but should we fail to win the league this season and I'll be doing my damnedest to keep the disappointment to a minimum. We have so much to be proud of

Absolutely spot on. I love football and I love LFC, but there are so many things that are more important. I was pissed off for about half an hour, but then my three little ones distracted me and I stopped being massively bothered.Originally posted by Pablo1981 View PostSorry but some of you are being hilariously melodramatic about all this

Im over Sunday now. If we win the league then fine. If we dont then we dont . Cant move away from the fact we made huge strides this season. And Im immensely proud of the team and players. We stood toe to toe with some stupid spenders who cheat the FFP.
We are doing things for the long term and Ive never enjoyed being LFC fan so much in a long time.
We are back in the CL on a shoestring and I fancy us to do damage there too
Gerrard said Rodgers will go onto to be a world class manager for us.
Im happy
