    I think we'll probably have learnt more from that Chelsea game than any other single match we've played this season. We're still developing and evolving, I'd like to think if Chelsea park their buses next time we'll be less naive and have a better game plan.

      Anyone reckon there's a chance of us going all out attack tomorrow. 3-2-5 or something daft.
      The times they are a changin'.

        I don't see what we have to lose. Get an early couple of goals then just go for it.

        Whats the worst possible case? We lose and finish 2nd with a win against Newcastle.

        Time to go for broke.

          Won't be a crackers formation but it will be all out attack from the word go,relentless.

            Like he said, we go again

            Im hoping for the first half v Arsenal replicated for the whole game

              Think about the four games this season we've played v Villa and West Ham home and away. The two Villa games were really tough games. A narrow 1-0 victory away and they could've been four up at Anfield in January. West Ham at Anfield was dire until a fortuitous own goal got the ball rolling and the away game at Upton Park was a real nail biter. Two pens. This could get interesting.
              I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

                I'm certain Villa will give City a very tough game on Wednesday. They'll be nervous if we beat Palace tomorrow. It's far from finished this. We go again.
                Are we winning?

                  Just witness Levante and Valencia's performances in La Liga. Mid table clubs that had nothing to play for yet none of Real Madrid, Barcelona or Atletico could win this weekend.

                  Villa and Wham are just the teams I would have liked against City at the Etihad at this stage. Palace is not easy for us either obviously but I think we will go at them like the Terminator's Terminator in Terminator 2. We will terminate them early.
                  One tit for another.

                    It's hard to maintain that level at this stage of the season. That's why Madrid and Chelsea dropped points. High intensity games in a short space of time tests your limits. Providing Villa and West Ham give it a good go, there's all to play for.

                      Wouldn't it be ironic if this pair helped us win the league...

                        Villa have nothing to play for now that's my major worry, they're safe from the drop so why bother putting in a shift ? I'm expecting them and West Ham to roll over for City if I'm honest.

                          Hopefully they never got bladdered tonight but if not then they after the release of pressure and are able to go there and enjoy it, the world watching put on a good performance and trying to spoil the party. The only worry is that our objectives don't align if it was say 1-1 with 10 minutes to go, we'd be wanting them to hold on, whilst they might bomb on for the win

                            You need look no further than the Spanish League table for inspiration. OK Getafe needed the points so you can see that there was more than sporting pride at stake in their Draw with Barca, but Valencia got a draw at the Bernabeau against Madrid, and Levante beat Athletico 2 nil - neither having anything to play for.

                            City will be nervous, it is now theirs to lose the pressure mounts. Anything is possible.

                            Believe.

                              That's all we have to remember until the last minute of the season. Keep believing and anything can happen.

                              If we don't then we know we're in a stronger position next season with -

                              * Experience of a genuine title run in
                              * Resurgence of some our younger players
                              * Suarez staying
                              * Established style of play
                              * **** load of money from coming 2nd and qualifying for the CL groups!
                              Was muß, das muß.

                                The strongest argument for improvement next season is Rodgers' evolution, he's been amazing this season. He's developing and adjusting all the time. This has been a great opportunity for him and he's responding magnificently. Rodgers is perfect for us.
