I don't mind City winning it. I know they've bought the league, but their supporters have endured some dreadful seasons before their change of fortune. It's better than Chelsea or Man United winning it anyway.

Best team wins the league every year. We were brilliant this season but i think inexperience and completely exhausting our squad was the major factor in the end. It's never a level playing field where City are concerned.. they have such an incredible squad.

We did capitulate in the end & it is devastating that we were so close. Great season and hopefully we can bring in some world class additions and push again next year.

I don't think we "capitulated" Dan, we couldn't close it out but that's not quite the same thing. 12 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss is one hell of a title tilt, sure we looked like we'd run out of steam at the end but logically we would have needed to have taken 40 points from 42 to have won it and that's just a ridiculous ask for any side, but especially for this thin squad.

Indeed, complete and utter rubbish to say we "capitulated".

Capitulated my backside. We've just missed out by two points to the mot expensive sporting team in history and even then they had to break FFP rules to achieve it. we went on an amazing 11 game winning streak.

I'm disappointed to miss out but immensely proud at the same time.

To say we capitulated when all we were being asked to do was take 51 from the 57 available in the second half of the season is laughable. We won 11 in a row ffs.

Sorry. Not a capitulation. Have to disagree

Even then, 11 minutes against Palace aside (when it turns out it was already gone) it wasn't a capitulation. We just failed to win every single game and go on a run that would have been pretty unprecedented. Losing happens in sport, I don't think it is at all fair to say we threw it away when the margins were just so tight.

It was really 3 points. We were never in a strong position to win it even after winning 11 on the bounce. Its rubbish

Fair points maybe capitulation is a strong word. Definitely lack of experience... which is understandable.

I'm not bothered at all today like many, delighted with the season & after the Chelsea game i thought it was gone anyways. Brilliant season
