We'll smash them and stay in the top four. This will be adequate for most people, but not all.

Its so tight that you could throw a blanket over half a dozen teams at least. The position is completely irrelevant when 2nd, 3rd,4th,5th,6th,7th,8th,9th is what about 3 to 4points? Its may that matters. If the good teams had been at their normal level I don't think we'd be anywhere near them.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

But those teams haven't been at their normal level, surely you can only concentrate on your own form and where we are now, regardless of other teams performances? Perhaps we're not at our normal level and will get better as the season goes on?
I'm quite chuffed we're up there and amongst it too. Last season we started slow and built up a momentum; what if we have started slow again but with the added bonus of having points on the board already?
Yes, where we are come May is obviously all that matters, but being in the top four as we come to the end of the first half of the season is great and can only generate confidence in the team.Last edited by Muddled; 02-12-13, 11:43 PM.

Bloody hell i hope so.Originally posted by Red_Polo View PostWe'll smash them and stay in the top four. This will be adequate for most people, but not all.
Also, it would be nice if all the teams around us had a **** day while were at it, so we actually gain points over them.
If that happens then Hull will seem like a distant nightmare, although; thinking about it, if we do smash Norwich and the teams around us do have an off day, just imagine how the table would have looked if we'd beaten Hull too.

Sorry, have I said something you disagree with? We're doing OK. We've beaten teams I'd expect to have and struggled in others. There hasn't been a game I'm surprised we have won so far. But you would normally expect utd, city and Chelsea to have a fair few points more than they have. Get over it.Originally posted by Glenn Hysen View Post
