Out of a possible 18 points at home, we have claimed 15. Our last six away games have resulted in just six points. There is certainly an issue there, but what is the cause? I dunno ... it's a good question though. Familiar surroundings, home support, less travel, different pitch sizes?Last edited by Muddled; 03-12-13, 06:08 AM.

i think away it's a tactically thing - when we are away, the opposition in front of of their own fans are going to press higherOriginally posted by Muddled View PostOut of a possible 18 points at home, we have claimed 15. this season - so often when pressed, our midfield (gerrard/lucas) drop so deep they are almost on the edge of the box - we get put under pressue and when we only have one striker up top, they get isolated.
that - plus we've been unlucky that a couple of away games have come after internationals which have affected us.
The other issue is the squad/fitness - we seem to have forced changes every week,i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

half the problem is all the chopping and changing, choose a system and stick with it for a set number of games and hope to build a partnership, each time you use a new system/personell you end up starting from scratch and more teething problemsOriginally posted by rcasemore View PostSo do I although with our issues with the LB position you wonder if he'll look at the 3 CB option again

imo i really think sterling will flop and will drift down the leagues,i know people will say he is young but he doesn't seem to have a football brain and know what to do on the pitch, needs to go out on loan to help him become a Footballer,Qpr would be a good place for him under RedknappOriginally posted by BigChief View PostSo Sterling looks like he'll be starting again.

Hope so, as long as it's 3 at the back and 5 in midfield as opposed to 5 at the back and 3 in midfield. Agger, Toure, Sakho, all comfortable on the ball and prepared to venture out of defence once in a while.Originally posted by rcasemore View PostSo do I although with our issues with the LB position you wonder if he'll look at the 3 CB option again
