Yes its not about feet,its about which side you are used to playing,for example right footed Vidic and Terry both play left side of defence only.

Its the opposite as a left handed person. Lefties have to adapt to a righties world and so become more adept at using their other hand. I guess there's no many implinents that are 'footed' though
