So was Moses and Aspas was poor in his earlier games.Originally posted by Bender View PostBecause in training anything you do looks good it's in an actual match where it counts,Sterling was very poor against Hull.
We've got to go with somebody and perhaps Sterling showed more desire to make amends in training.

Guess we can look forward to Agger and Skrtel as a CB pairing for a while now after Rodgers saying he was going to give a pair a run. Pity its these two he has chosen again. Obviously never saw enough of them together last season
Reckon we wont keep a clean sheet and we will be lucky to score more than one goal

removing all the weak links makes us stronger

I thought Skrtel looking okay against Hull and hopefully Agger's calming influence will reign him in slightly. Toure has been the weak link - he's a damn kamikaze - if we could get a decent left back in January, Johnson can find his form again ... I think that back four is more than capable.Originally posted by Sarb View Post
It is bollocks though mate. That back 4 will get ripped a new one by City in a few weeks and probably Carlton ****ing Cole on Saturday
Lots of 'ifs' for sure, but it's not all negative.

I thought he looked decent pre season and the one match he came off the bench I thought he looked good as well. (can't remember the opponents)Originally posted by Muddled View PostI think people are forgetting how ineffectual Aspas was. He hid from the ball and offered little else; we're just looking for alternatives borne out of frustration when in reality, it highlights another weak area in our team.Football without Origi is nothing
