Excellent result today.

Most of all I'm so happy to see a clean sheet. It wasn't as free flowing and attacking as other home games but then again we could have comfortably won this 3 or 4 nil rather than comfortably winning it 2-0.

Didn't notice any man handling by Skrtel today, don't know if someone has had a word with him but I'm glad about that. I was worried a penalty would be on its way soon if he didn't stop.

I know it's easy to call the right thing to do from the comfort of your armchair but if Coutinho had just back-heeled it across goal then it would have been 3-0 and two for Suarez, and a goal of the season contender.

Good win that, had all the hallmarks of a potential banana skin for us especially with having so many players either out or carrying knocks.

I hope we look to rest a few for the FA cup fixture.
