The big issue for me is individual errors. Adams' goal was a error from Henderson and Walters goal was an error from Mignolet.

I'd wager that the majority of goals scored are a result of some kind of error.

I'd say the error was more Skrtel not closing down for Adam's goal

Disagree, can't give the ball away the way and in the position Henderson did. Skrtel closed down, the shot went through his legs.

I'm with Matt, the root cause was with Jordan. But it was a common issue with most of the team yesterday, we gave the ball away too cheaply

Bit of a generous way of putting it, as usual he went backwards and sideways as he's frightened to death of doing anything on the front foot (see the 1st and 3rd goals at Hull for more evidence of it) then put out an attempt to block when he finally realised Adam was going to shoot. If he'd actually closed him down properly straight away the danger would have gone, instead he backed off and off and Adam got closer and closer to our goal.

Henderson lost the ball cheaply, then didnt bust a gut to get back and then Skrtel didnt close the ball down as you said

He did, but far too late- he was running backwards for a while, then stepped forward just before Adam let fly.

This game gave a fair indication of our spirit as a team and our confidence in our attacking ability.

The Liverpool of a few years ago would have capitulated but we just go and score some more. It's great to see and I don't think we're a million miles from a title challenging side to be honest.

I read that it's much easier as a manager to set up your defence but to set up an attacking side is much harder. It looks like Rodgers has focussed on the latter and should address the former next.

I think Mignolet has to take a lot of blame. Before the goal we were passing the ball about in the final 3rd but Stoke were pressing well. We were forced backwards but we were still comfortably in control of the ball and Henderson played long ball back to Mignolet who had time. There was an easy pass for him, but instead he hoofed it up field conceding possession. We won the ball back quickly though and again the ball was played to Mignolet, which wasn’t a great ball to be fair and it’s understandable why he launched it, but a better keeper might have looked for the pass.

Any number of players could be blamed for that second goal and it can be argued that Mignolet is least culpable as he cleared his lines both times, but that first hoof was under little pressure when we were trying to control possession, which led to a scrappy period of play resulting in a goal.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
