He's really strengthened up hasn't he. Not so easily pushed off the ball anymore IMO.

He's superb defensively, both at pressing and at winning the ball, and he's also excellent at shielding it. Worked on his strength.

Strange comment that. I'm inclined to believe he's more likely carrying an injury than your assumption.

You have to be happy after that but you must also recognise that we have massive issues at the back and if we can't talk about them without being accused of moaning whats the point in a forum?

People just expect a win to mean a wankfest I think, today was a case of our defense being awful our midfield lacking any kind of shape or control and our attacking play being outstanding.

Sakho and Agger missing along with Enrique they would all have improved us today but Rodgers doesn't seem to fancy Agger/Sakho as a partnership.

For me we need RB, LB, CM along with the attacking wide player we seem to be looking at. Arguments can be made for CB but I think at the moment we have enough there we just need to get a settled pair and get Sakho back in as soon as possible.
