Defending/Keeping cost us the match. We can't have any great aspirations with such a terrible defence.

Gerrard with one of the most shocking games in his career. I think 6/7 of the 10 worst games in his career have been this season. Elephant in the room.

End of the game was appropriate with Cissokho being unable to pick up the ball and throw it before the final whistle. He's truly, truly ****. Up there with Paul Konchesky. His performance today is worthy of a Mostar highlights video.

We need Sakho back, desperately. We need to buy a strong defensive midfielder urgently. We might even need a keeper.

That should see Everton going back into 4th. I have no clue whether United will beat Chelsea, but LFC rather than looking forwards are going to have to start looing over the shoulder. Not a great first half at all in fact very poor BUT I think we showed some mental strength to come out in the second half and get a draw out of that.

Not ideal of course that we didn't take the 3 points but it's not the end of the world and we're still right in the hunt for 4th place.
