Because I'm too nice a guy.

Nah, the story is my girlfriend's mate asked if I could get her and her fiancée tickets to a match as she wanted to do that for a Christmas or birthday present. I told her I probably could although at that stage (November) all the 3 O'clock fixtures on a Saturday after Christmas were likely to change, so there was no guarantee the match would be on. The only fixtures that weren't likely to change were the Everton game as it was already midweek and the Newcastle game at the end of the season which I was already going to. So she chose the Everton game on my advice and my gf said she's pay for us to go too.

I didn't realise you needed credits on your fan card though to go to the Derby, which is why I couldn't get tickets. We'd accepted that we're not going to the match and were happy to watch it in a bar, but returned season tickets were made available yesterday and I was able to get 1. Normally I would have no problems just going on my own, but not sure how well it would go down when the whole point of the trip was for this other fella to get to the match as he hasn't been since 2005. So factoring in the guilt associated with that, coupled with the fact I'm going to Swansea match 3 weeks later anyway, I'm not so sure if I should just go on my own.

It's pretty sad really, I should be going at all costs, but the fact that it's an evening kick off is also a bit off putting, making my way to Anfield and back on my own.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Ditto. Lately we always seem to go into it not playing very well. They're not exactly terrifying at the moment but we are so threadbare and the Spurs game seems a long time ago. Any type of win is an absolute must, not arsed if we play **** again.

Incredibly nervous with our soft middle and Toure behind.

Need to play Allen and Hendo to cover for Stevie. Sakho also has to play.

Flanno returning is massive. 3-5-2? Flanno and Sterling as wingbacks? Can't play 442 or 4411 that's for sure.
          One tit for another.

Yep. I bet they fancy their chances. We have the overall quality to beat them but our general demeanour has been so... not exactly confidence-inducing lately.

It's not going to be easy this one and being a Derby anything can happen, let's hope home advantage and a firing Suarez and Sturridge turn up.

They will have an injury list as long as ours:-

                Coleman
                Pienaar
                Barkley
                Deulofeu
                Kone
                Gibson
                Oviedo

If they get through today without any more injuries I would guess they line up with

                Howard

                Hibbert
                Jagielka
                Distin
                Baines

                McCarthy
                Barry

                Mirallas
                Osman
                Naismith/McGeady

                Lukaku

You've got to be getting at Hibbert he's dreadful !!

I'm hoping Coleman doesn't make it back for our match, he's supposed to be close isn't he?

It'd be ****ing awful to watch

I'd go for Flannagan at LB anyway with Kelly on the right.

I'm hoping Allen is going to be available for this as well tbh but I can't see it happening

Chaps, we're playing at home. So we should beat them. No matter how threadbare our squad is at the moment.
                        Are we winning?

                            Jagielka also injured apparently.

Don't know how we should line up. We barely have enough CB's, and we don't have enough CM's. I'm worried with Kelly and Cissokho, and at least one of them will be playing. I'm worried with Toure and Skrtel, and both of them will be playing. I'm worried with our midfield of Gerrard and Henderson, and don't think moving Coutinho to the middle in front of them will be very effective against Everton.

                            Rodgers has a headache coming.
