We drew that game, it wasn't the worst result in the world especially after such an abject first half.

If they get through today without any more injuries I would guess they line up with

      Howard

      Hibbert
      Jagielka
      Distin
      Baines

      McCarthy
      Barry

      Mirallas
      Osman
      Naismith/McGeady

      Lukaku
Gareth Barry has been a key player for them this season. Moreover, the trio of McCarthy, Barry and Mirallas play like a settled midfield. I have grave concerns about our likely midfield trio of Gerrard playing behind Henderson and Allen.
      Another MASSIVE game

Not according to Physio room but I am not sure how accurate they are.

Worried about Kelly playing. Rather Flano and, jeez, Cissokho. The latter is garbage but.......and I hate to get on his case as he's been so unlucky with injuries and hardly played for ages.......but Kelly looks as if he'd struggle to make it at a Championship club at the moment.

It's a tough one, but a Kelly, Flanagan combo shades it for me over Flanagan and Cissokho. Mainly because the latter offers nothing going forward and nothing defensively ... he is literally an outlet on the left hand side if we need him.

Daffy Duck said it best in the match thread 'Cissookho needs to find himself another sport'.

I'd go Kelly and Flanno as well, just based on them being better than Cissokho.

How we could do with Enrique back

When is Enrique back? I thought his scheduled return coincided with this fixture.

I think on current form Cissokho is better than Kelly.

Cissokho is a terrible player, I wouldn't have he near the side again unless there was no other option. Kelly may not be having the best of times but at least he looks like he gives a **** which is more than can be said for Cissokho. Also as Kelly and Flanagan are players that came through the youth system hopefully that means they will be up for this one and that can increase their performance levels.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Could make or break us this one. Interesting times.

Cissoko can't handle the pace of a regular PL game so he has to sit this out if possible because he will get murdered. You'd have to think you would get more out of Kelly being a local lad and tbh I have faith in Flanno.

Biggest concern for me on Tuesday is the midfield.

Are Allen & Sakho available for this?

Kelly right and Flannagan left. Cisokkho should not be playing

On current form, I think I'd prefer Sterling over Kelly. I'd even play Henderson there if we didn't need him in midfield.

I'm not a fan of 3 at the back, but considering our current situation I'd be thinking about it with Coutinho moving behind the front two and Flanagan and Sterling WB's.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I like a 3-5-2 in terms of the best way of getting coutinho involved centrally. Could be a good curve ball to throw at Everton

Problem with that is they will only go with one up top so the other 2 CB's have to be comfortable moving out of defense with the ball and also picking up midfield runners.

Also leaves the full backs exposed especially with Baines overlapping down the left.
