Bless em, he must have been about 3 when they last won at our place. And judging by the fella infront of him he needs to brush his teeth.

What a brilliant performance from everyone today.
One thing to note is that Mig actually reconsidered his positioning on crosses and instead of flapping, he stood his ground and let his defence clear it out.
Some good saves today but his distribution is still comical at times. Was muß, das muß.

As for tonight - awesome! Our front players quite rightly get the plaudits but how good was Skrtel? Surrounded by second and third choices - he led by example
Arsenal are a completely different animal.
Skrtel was fantastic once again.. having a great season and Rodgers touched on it pre game interview. Guy has covered for the whole defence all season

Virtually the same Everton midfield bossed Arsenal at the Emirates.Originally posted by Rigadon View PostAgree about the intensity but I'd be concerned if we played Arsenal with the same team (ie tonight's selection and set up). once we made the changes we struggled to get any decent chances on goal. moses running around but not doing too much. not helping cissoko out behind him.
alberto disappeared once he crossed the white line.
kelly looks lost out there. lost.
our pressing went to **** a bit. this allowed the bitters to bring the game to our goal area and they had lots of unchallenged possession.
its just as well skrtel and gerrard were having a decent game.
i know that brendan would have wanted to make some changes, but why moses and not aspas?
the lads who came on are just not good enough and highlights the lack of squad depth.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
