Apart from the Everton game we never have control over a game when we go with two centre mids.

Change of tactics required against Arsenal. They will go straight through the midfield unless we play with some high up pressing and intensity

Dont think Lukaku is out long term. Hopefully we have shown teams how to beat them though

Lambert only shows up against big clubs to keep his profile in the limelight.

I would worry about that midfield when Arsenal come to town,extra testosterone levels for the derby aside it hasn't been great.

Then again we set up to counter attack against Everton and it worked a charm,Arsenal will take the game to us so it may well work again.

SAS were providing the additional midfielder today. Like Sarb says Coutinho was off his game or this could have been comfortable. Onwards and upwards. We usually wake up after a result like this (see Spurs and Everton)

It depends which person has logged onto the account and is posting as 'Sarb'. I've often agreed with some of his more positive posts. However, when he's at the other end of the spectrum, he clashes with my stance therefore I'm going to disagree. I don't think it would differ if it was any other poster to be fair.

Sure hope not. That would probably be the toughest pill to swallow. Well no. If United got 4th, that would most definitely be the toughest pill to swallow. What a calamitous possibility. Anyway, can't afford many more results like this. Hopefully we make the appropriate adjustments for the Arsenal game. We've been hanging onto 4th for sometime and we have got to keep it that way.

Was the pitch bad? It seems as soon as we are anywhere without An field's carpet - like pitch our passing and control of the ball goes to ****

The pitch looked perfect, it's was just we had very little composure on the ball and seemed to be hurrying our passes even when we weren't under any pressure. The sloppy passing spread throughout the team in the second half.

Mignolet and the defence were particularly guilty. We need to be much better on the ball if we're gonna persist with building from the back. Need the first choice defenders back ASAP.

Seen it so many times - we score and then try to pass it around like Barcelona at a snails pace. Except we aren't Barcelona at all. We aren't good enough to hold on to the ****ing ball half the time. Suarez looked frustrated, Sturridge had one of those days, Henderson is playing within himself (perhaps due to his role), Cissokho and Toure is just a car crash of a left sided defensive duo, just woeful. You can visibly see that the team thinks Cissokho is wank, he knows it, everyone ****ing knows it but we have no other fit full backs. The mind boggles. We need Sakho, Agger and Enrique back so badly it's painful

Think Arsenal passing a lot more incisive though. A proper back four I would have played on counter. Think we can only win doing something different.

We were in control and not looking set to concede until an individual error allowed them to equalize. It's upsetting but we were comfortable and not under the kosh.

All teams have **** days, Man Utd lost to Stoke, Arsenal drew with West Brom, Chelsea drew with West Ham (and didn't score) and Man City lost to Sunderland.

Our back line is rag tag but it took a moment of madness for them to score and I that doesn't happen that often.

We're still in 4th, we're still looking good and we continue to score.
