It's an inexcuseable mistake really, for a defender of Toure's calibre and experience. Apart from that, it just mystifies me how we're unable to step up our game to search for the winner. WB did well in stifling our play but surely we have more than quality to overcome that tactically?I wear my heart on my profile name.

I was absolutely sick yesterday. A combination of furious and very down....but come on. No team wins every week, Arsenal and Everton both drew there, it increased our lead over our rivals. It wasn't great but what's new, we've been dodgy away from home all season. Keep winning our home games and pick up points where we can away. We're on track. I'm determined not to spend this week down in the dumps. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Except for Everton that gained 2 on us! I'm relly starting to think they are our main rivals. I'm 90% on the way of ruling out the scum, and Spurs I just don't fancy even though they are so close to us. Everton seems to be the team that get's point at the same rate as us and not really dropping off.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostI was absolutely sick yesterday. I'm def. not down over it. It was a poor result - mainly because it looked an opportunity, but a point away is decent enough.
We need to get better away from home with only 4 wins in 12. But part of that is explained by us facing most top teams away already I expect!

everton just don't seem to drop off do they - i was hoping us smashing them would end them, and when they went 1-0 down to villa i thought that's it - lose that game and they're gone.Originally posted by Darkon View PostExcept for Everton that gained 2 on us! but they dug in and through everything at villa and deserved the win
that said - villa where a completely different side to the one against us which really ****ed me off
- against us they looked quick, slick, physical - against everton they looked leggy, clueless and scared - they barely got the ball out of their own half once they went one nil up.
i guess that's the difference between playing 'liverpool at anfield' - they had no fear coming into our game, probably expecting to lose so decided to come out and have a go and fight for their lives.....against everton they looked more nervy, like they felt they could just nick a point and run away happy with it.i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

something tells me if we win at home against Arsenal at the weekend, WBA will seem like a point gained again...

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Someone made the point that it was a point gained earlier on - I think thats a decent way of looking at it. Sure there was a mistake at the back, but that had been coming for a while (both figuratively in ref to the knocking it around very deep and actually in the game itself - they had a good spell of chances after a tactical switch).
Liverpool didn't really create that much, and for all the ease of the first half, it was complacent from the team to go about business the same way, and complacent of supporters to think that LFC can just turn up to supposed lower ranked teams and just crush them. The team isn't at that stage yet.

i think what im disappointed with the most is that if we would have beaten west brom yesterday that would have put us out of man u's reach for fourth.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostI was absolutely sick yesterday. realistically they are our biggest rivals for that spot and being 9 points ahead with 14 games to go is a big gap to make up. even for utd.[B]Sir Isaac Newton knew the universal law of karma - any action has its equal and opposite reaction.[B]
