It was mighty tight, that's for sure, and yeah I don't think it gained him any real advantage.

I do think it was just off, but it was so close and really not something Arsenal can whinge about. Even if we'd have won by that goal alone, they only have themselves to blame for conceding that.

On an unrelated note, 101greatgoals had a collection of tweets yesterday on the reaction to our win over Arsenal. Piers Morgan, Sam Jackson and then down the list we had Mostar.

Looks like we have a celebrity on board

Mostar's done brilliantly on Twitter. How many followers has he got now? Think it's bordering on 50k or so?
        Are we winning?

Hands don't count for offside. Only parts of the body you can play the ball with count. Apparently.
          Oh I don't know.

I think Arteta was level with Sturridge and Skrtel.

And doesn't Arteta get his foot to it first anyway?

Yeah I think I get you now.

We tend to bask in the glow of a great win and dissect and squabble over the disappointments

Yeah would like to have seen at least one of them pass to him because he'd have had a simple finish if I remember rightly.

Its a shame for him we got Arsenal in the cup or he might have got a game.
I know it won't make a difference as he's got 2 amazing strikers ahead of him but we need a fit & firing squad. It's also better for team morale if you trust your teammates.

I don't think its a case of not trusting him,it was late in the game and Sterling was running out of time to get his hattrick, never going to pass.

Cissokho most likely never even saw or looked for a pass,if he had it may well have missed Aspas but 20 yards

2goals & an assist would have been better than 2 & a side net.

                        Cissokho

There was also an obvious foul (pull back) on Sturridge.
                          Another MASSIVE game

                            Was it by Skrtel again?

Doesn't the Arsenal player get a touch on it, you can't really tell on the gif but didn't they mention it on TV yesterday?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
