Looked pretty much in line to me. Maybe a hand was just about offside, but it was incredibly minimal and certainly not gaining any sort of advantage.

It was mighty tight, that's for sure, and yeah I don't think it gained him any real advantage.



I do think it was just off, but it was so close and really not something Arsenal can whinge about. Even if we'd have won by that goal alone, they only have themselves to blame for conceding that.

Hands don't count for offside. Only parts of the body you can play the ball with count. Apparently.

I don't think it's that there isn't much to be said, more that there's likely to be a lot less difference of opinion on it and more importantly less fervent difference of opinion.

I have indeed. I haven't read any further than this so maybe it's been discussed to death, but I do think overall it's just the way it is. With positives you're almost just reaffirming them...essentially. "Wasn't that brilliant!". There is almost always much more to discuss when things go wrong.

Yeah would like to have seen at least one of them pass to him because he'd have had a simple finish if I remember rightly.

He did get into good positions and he was overlooked on a couple of occasions but when he looks at whats ahead of him in the team he'll have to accept he ain't going to get much time on the pitch regardless of what he does when he does get on it.

Its a shame for him we got Arsenal in the cup or he might have got a game.

I know it won't make a difference as he's got 2 amazing strikers ahead of him but we need a fit & firing squad. It's also better for team morale if you trust your teammates.

I don't think its a case of not trusting him,it was late in the game and Sterling was running out of time to get his hattrick,never going to pass.
