It's so obvious that we are way ahead of Arsenal now. We really are turning into a team capable of challenging at the top.

Our defence coped with them quite well. First goal was a stupid goal and the second we got caught out on the counter.

Joe Allen in our midfield really puts us at a disadvantage.

Sturridge takes his chances and we win that game even without Webbs usual shocker.

The two on his right I was less confident but second half on his left I was celebrating before he'd even shot I was so sure

better defending from arsenal snuffed out our few decent chances, but not enough support from the middle.
we know gerrard will be sitting deeper, so we needed the full back to chip in, allen awol.
was there no one on the bench who could have taken brendans favourite boys place...

How did we lose it in midfield? We created countless chances and for me, other than Ozil chance, Arsenal scored their only chances. Unlucky and nothing to do with midfield loss.

Beating Arsenal 2 games in a row was always going to be a big ask and with the second game at the Emirates and our away record a loss isn't a shock for me.
I'm not upset at all by the result or performance, we played very well in the second half, Gerrard was immense once again.

Just sick and tired of Howard Webb screwing us over in big games. How many times has he done us like a kipper?

Our response from going 2-0 down was superb but the problem was being 2-0 down in the first place. Poor defending puts us in too big of a hole to dig out of.

Skrtel has been one of the best CB's in the league this season. Agger was shocking today and skrtel is consistently partnered by under performing partners.

People conveniently forgetting how good he has been and jumping at the chance to give him stick to suit their agenda.

He was no means good but nowhere near worst on pitch. Favorites like Agger, sturridge and Coutinho were terrible.

Skrtel could have cost us another goal today with an exact same clearance as he did against Fulham. He's an accident waiting to happen and he never learns. 29 years old and still a "project".

We are the better team no doubt.

Arsenal defended so well first 45 - even more impressive if you remember how sore their backsides must be from last Saturday.

The one thing between where we are & becoming a top side is the ability to keep it tight for 45-60 mins away from home.

Not Arsed.We battered them but we can't defend and if you don't take your chances you'll lose close games. Webb is terrible and Rodgers needs to say something so he isn't reffing our games anymore.

That's the problem, Brendan doesn't have options from the bench. When he gets those (if the club sort their transfer policy out) then we really will be bombasting the league.
