At around 68 minutes my stream kept dying and I was so fed up that I went and took a shower. Finished showering, dressing, getting ready... took about half an hour of course. Came out and saw we'd won it! So relieved! Maybe I shouldn't watch the rest of our games...?

        Phew. Phew. Phew.

Although we won, we really could've lost (at least up until the 70th minute or so). We were so kamikaze at the back it's unreal. We need to sort our back line out before the next game or this is going to catch up to us... and fast.

Suarez may be in a dry spell, but we still scored 4 goals and hit the post.

It doesn't worry me in the slightest.
          Oh I don't know.

I know this is a win day, are we allowed to have a moan too?

Coutinho was absent throughout. Still maintain that Suarez needs a rest

We are the reincarnation of keegans first spell at Newcastle.

I'd like to say bring Allen in for Gerrard but the latter has the ability to hit those magical passes like the one to Suarez which led to our winner.

But then Allen brings so much more energy to the team and this is what our front line thrives on.

I guess it's just nice to see a substitute make such a positive contribution to the team.

Toure and Moses on the other hand did **** all for us.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone, by any chance, know if Suarez spent some of the game on the right?

Na, I'm not worried as well. These type of performances have been few and far between really. We didn't really turn up today but we were good enough to score 4. So, I wouldn't worry too much when we have the ability to score like this. That's what wins you titles.
                      Are we winning?

3 points is all that matters and we got them. But really we need to look at the defence. It cannot be a personnel issue

Joe Allen was very good when he came on, pressed better than any of our midfield and kept things nice and simple when giving the ball away was killing us.

Some obvious problems though, Mignolet adding to our defensive problems by not taking charge, the back 4 looking nervous and making so many individual mistakes and the midfield not offering enough protection just leaving too many gaps and attacking in too many numbers at times.

ANOTHER big result though, there was a lot of pressure on that game and for me it wasn't about the title race but with Spurs still so close to us and looking at their fixtures it was vital we kept breathing distance and make them have to react.

Watching that with a killer hangover was not easy. 3pts though. Move on. Keep reaching for the stars. Skrtel had a mare today, hope he doesn't lose confidence

Wow, utterly draining. There's a massive dearth of confidence amongst the defenders - we know that most of them have been fine in the past so what's causing it is a worry.

Thank the lord for the forwards.
