What he is saying is that they had 2 very good chances (Lallana post is one of those) to score very shortly after we took the lead and they failed to convert those chances.

If they had scored who knows what the game outcome would have been.

It's true that you don't always get what you deserve but we won and that's all that really matters.

Incredible result and we are one more step closer to the Champions League.

agreed one was pace and power one is pace and technical ability both outstanding in different ways.

Torres at his peak was a force of nature, simply amazing to watch.

It's going to be interesting to see how many goals Sturridge manages in a 100 games for us, already well on his way to eclipse Suarez and Torres which would be an unbelievable achievement.

He's on course for 84 goals in 99 appearances!

Got to say when we were first linked with him like alot of people is wasn't so keen. But he's turned into a truly fantastic player. His goal scoring and killer instinct in front of goal reminds me of Fowler in his prime.

Suarez got to 50 league goals in 86 games - putting him between Ian Rush and Robbie Fowler.

If Sturridge only scores a goal every other game till he reaches 50 he'll still do it in 77! 22 in 38 for him to take the record of fastest Liverpool player to 50. Can't see him failing to be honest!

If he does then he will have Luis to thank for it big time......

Dont get me wrong, Sturridge is class, but Suarez takes so much attention and causes such havoc that Sturridge gets opportunites.....

What is also incredible is that neither Suarez ir Sturridge are on penos..... unless Gerrard gives them a chance to get a hattrick or something!!!

J just ****in love watching us play at the moment

Torres was brilliant. Sturridge is brilliant. Saying one was or is better than the other is a waste of time, and completely without merit. I love watching Sturridge now in the same way that I loved watching Torres 5 years ago.
Nah, Surridge is better. He is a better footballer. He's a better person. He's a better man and a better lover too.
