Big worry for me - literally all I am worrying about - is us....which is which LFC will turn up. If we do ourselves justice we'll win, they can't live with us, but even our greatest teams couldn't suss this fixture out and if we freeze to any degree we will lose, as usual. It's absolutely ****ing horrible isn't it.

The away team almost always bottles it - we have their number at Anfield and we never show up at their place. Feel sick thinking about it already FFS.

In fact I'm going to predict a few things. Hope I reverse jinx it obviously and look an absolute fool after we've dicked them with not a single one of these things happening.

Not supposed to be funny. It's just what will happen....most of it at least.
      • We'll have a bright start and boss it for 10 minutes
      • We'll miss a couple of good chances
      • We'll get a soft early booking
      • They will score from a set piece - probably the resulting set piece from the above yellow card - totally against the run of play
      • Old Trafford will celebrate like they've just won the European Cup
      • Moyes will go absolutely berserk
      • We'll boss it until HT without looking too dangerous
      • United will score from another set piece two minutes into the 2nd half
      • Meh
      • Meh
      • Meh
      • Liverpool red card
      • We score in the 87th minute
      • They win their Cup final
      • United players, manager, staff and supporters go sickeningly and embarrassingly ape ****

Mancs in work have been unusually quite this week in the build up to the game. The Moyes effect is in full swing.

They will score there's no doubt about that but I don't think they have enough to stop our attacking line.

I've felt sick with nerves every time i think of this, since last weekend FFS. So important that we don't lose. Just as much to knock the stuffing out of them as to carry on our good form

Absolutely hate these games, always have. Can't enjoy them at all but I'm strangely looking forward to this. I wish it was tomorrow, can't wait for it to start.

is there some sort of official EST list of people that shouldnt be allowed to watch this game,
you know, the ones who say i always miss the match and we win/i manage to catch the game and we lose
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

For the first 10 mins of this game my heart is always ready to burst out of my chest. I think we will win but I can't see it being easy like some say.

Manchester United boss David Moyes has told the BBC in a revealing interview that he expects his side to get back to losing ways against Liverpool this Sunday.

Liverpool, a surprise contender for the Premier League title this season, sit 4 points behind leaders Chelsea and Moyes has stopped just short of guaranteeing his side will lose at home to them.

“We had a bit of blip last weekend against West Brom, which frankly came out of the blue,” Moyes said of his side’s 3-0 victory against Pepe Mel’s team.
“There’s big expectation around here that we’ll suffer a defeat against Liverpool and I’m not going to be the one to say that a club like Manchester United are incapable of that,” he added.

An in form Liverpool team led by Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez head to Old Trafford as second favourites for the clash but the United manager stressed he was not underestimating them.

“Jesus we looked at some of the recent matches, it’s terrifying when you think about the players we’ve got. I think it’s unfair to be honest that we’re being labelled favourites,” offered the sad Scot, “this team has shown time and time again this season that we’re capable of some big, big defeats and Sunday should be no exception.”

Meanwhile shadowy fan organisation ‘#MoyesIn’ have seen an upsurge in their membership month on month of 90% outside Manchester alone.

More to follow as we get it…

That rug really tied the room together.

It's natural to worry as they have been the top side in the country for two decades and we... Haven't.

But they are 4 places, 11 points and 23 goal difference behind us for a reason.

im pretty calm at the moment, for me the manc games are the biggest games in our season, but it doesnt feel like a big game because its them, it would be a big game not matter who we were playing this weekend

A Liverpool win must be the banker of the weekend. If I wasn't abroad I'd be straight down the bookies to pile in.

Can't see any logic in their being favourites but, to be fair, when I looked on Oddschecker a couple of days ago most of the money for the game was going on a Liverpool win.

Chill out. We'll win by at the very least two clear goals. I'm expecting us to win by three in fact

I see Sakho has had some Liverbirds tattooed to the side of his hands

In all seriousness though, this is a match that we really should be winning. Aside from all of the times that we've been screwed over there in the past, murphys law etc etc. This team is playing brave football and has been winning matches. In theory if we stick to the same principles, the result should come.

We should beat them but these games are never clear cut, we need to win to keep the pressure on Chelsea and the Mancs will be playing in their cup final this season, they'll be all out to scupper our title chances.

                              Hate this fixture!!!!!!

I'm very confident we'll beat them, not just because we are in much better form but due to our overall class thought the team and that man Suarez.

The pressure is on them to try to salvage some pride but they just haven't got the players anymore or the manager.

Yes they've good attaching players but the midfield behind them isn't functioning and their defence will fail to cope with SAS. Sterling will be key.

It's natural for fans to be nervous but I'm sure we'll beat them even if they raise ther game and play well. We have too much quality in midfield and attack and can call on our first choice defence as well as having good options on the bench.
