Poll said he impeded Sturridge with his lunge so it's still a foul,contact or not.
It was a dive though which is what makes it brilliant,they got so many cheap ones against us over the years its great too see them spitting blood over it
Just glad it wasn't Suarez or we be having calls to deport him now.

Liverpool have scored 48 first-half goals in the Premier League this season, two more than Manchester United have in total.
Only Everton v Liverpool (20) has seen more red cards than the Liverpool v Manchester United fixture in the Premier League (15).
Only one team (Arsenal) have kept a clean sheet against Liverpool in their last 17 Premier League away trips.
Liverpool have been awarded more penalties than any other Premier League side this season (10).
Manchester United conceded a penalty at Old Trafford in the Premier League for the first time since December 31, 2011 (v Blackburn Rovers).
Liverpool have won more penalties at Old Trafford than any away team on any ground in Premier League history (6).
With nine games left to play, Man Utd have equalled the highest number of defeats they've suffered in a PL season (9)
Luis Suarez is only the 2nd player to score 25 Premier League goals for Liverpool in a single season (after Robbie Fowler, twice)
This was only the third time in PL history that a team has conceded three penalties in a game (along with Bradford & Tottenham).
Four of Nemanja Vidic's six Premier League red cards have come against Liverpool (+ 2 vs Chelsea).
Steven Gerrard has now scored more PL goals at Old Trafford than any other visiting player in the competition's history.
Liverpool have now won 126 penalties in Premier League history, more than any other side.
Manchester United's only shot on target came in the 44th minute. This is the first time since May 2009 (vs Arsenal) that United have had fewer than two in a Premier League home game._____________________________________

Gary Neville has been accused by Manchester United fans of having not spoken out against Daniel Sturridge’s dive for Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday.
To his credit, Neville has not shirked the criticism of his commentary on the social network, and the pundit has engaged in a heated debate about his opinions on diving whilst defending his work.
Read the tweets between Gary Neville and the Manchester United fans below.
@BeardedGenius ignored! It was treated the same way I've treated MU and other teams players. See my diving stance ! I'm wholly consistent
— Gary Neville (@GNev2) March 17, 2014
@BeardedGenius @GNev2 No, he skirted the issue and seemed to blame Vidic more.
— Alex Shaw (@PeopleSportShaw) March 17, 2014
@PeopleSportShaw @BeardedGenius yes I did! I blamed Clark for youngs dive 2 years ago and me for Gerrards twelve years v us! Stay on feet
— Gary Neville (@GNev2) March 17, 2014
@Willomufc @BeardedGenius someone making sense ! That's why I'm consistent across the board it's my stance and some don't like it!

@nhldn @BeardedGenius true

@BeardedGenius can't remember exactly but doesn't matter. Stuck up for Januzaj on diving if you remember! Have a look! Very consistent!

@BeardedGenius everyone in the stadium as soon as Vida went to ground knew it was a pen!! Would we have wanted it! Vida would admit it!
— Gary Neville (@GNev2) March 17, 2014
@BeardedGenius observant
— Gary Neville (@GNev2) March 17, 2014
@BeardedGenius no problem here! You've chosen to pinpoint a minor issue that has no relation to the game in a game that could have been 7-0!
— Gary Neville (@GNev2) March 17, 2014
@BusbyMUFC @BeardedGenius lads it was a penalty.We would have wanted it and got it all day long.See diving video by me ' can be dive and pen
— Gary Neville (@GNev2) March 17, 2014
@ABuljan @BusbyMUFC @BeardedGenius you don't know the rules lads! Not my fav ref but see G Poll this morning

It seemed clear on replay that he was anticipating the contact but that didn't happen.Originally posted by G View PostPoll said he impeded Sturridge with his lunge so it's still a foul,contact or not.
