I was actually about to post wondering if he might not start. He seems likely to be equally effective as Moses or Aspas. I would think that the pace of Moses or movement of the latter would mean one of them is more likely to get the nod but Teixeira and Coutinho looking to feed balls into Suarez and Sterling seems a viable plan to me.

IMO he offers more than Aspas or Moses and is better suited to Rodgers's style of football

Tex could play if Rodgers wants to persist with 2 strikers rather than Suarez on his own. This would mean the tried and tested diamond with Allen on the right and Tex left. Moses and Aspas probably not shown enough for that left berth. Also means Lucas not used.

I can see Tex starting but as part of the forward three in a 4-3-3 rather with Cou as part of the midfield three. The midfield runners in a diamond require a lot of energy and discipline, and it's too important a game to start playing Tex there.

I'm off to the gym now to while away an hour or so. Yesterday I was practising the guitar when Sunderland equalised, I then strummed away on the damn thing for the rest of the match for luck. Bloody fingers are killing.
