I don't buy the referees are biased accusations or conspiracy theories. IMO there is just a fairly poor standard of refereeing in the premier league. We notice the incidents against us as we are LFC supporters and watch all of our games in full. I'm sure other supporters from other clubs say exactly the same thing about refs against them etc. The only ref i dislike is Howard Webb, as i think he is consistently making clangers in every game & somehow gets lauded as the best ref in the country. He really is a terrible referee.

As Gerrard said, these decisions balance themselves out over the season

I dunno mate i just think that there is a genuine poor standard of refereeing in the premier league.

The fact that Howard Webb was voted the best referee in the world.. leads me to believe that maybe there is a pretty poor standard of referees out there in general. Long gone are the likes of Collina and Frisk...who were genuine top class refs.
