The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

The corruption away to City and Chelsea is going to cost us more than we could ever have imagined at the time.

Agree. Were not the only ones to struggle to break Chelsea down. Theyre a very good defensive team. Better attacks than ours have struggled to break them down.

I don't think city will get 12 points. I think we will now get 6.

          I'm quite relaxed tbh...

Not over by a long shot. Poor performance but we are still in pole position. Can't see City winning all 4 games.

We might just need 4 points to clinch it.

It's City's to lose now that result gives them a huge boost.

We needed a strong ref today and Atkinson wasn't that, he let them away with too much ****. They wanted to break up play get all the little nothing fouls and break up play. By not allowing quick freekicks and not punishing their time wasting he played into their hands. Schwarzer was warned 4 times in the first 35 mins about time wasting but was never booked. IMO that is awful officiating, he clearly knew what they were doing and barely added any time on for it. 3 and 4 mins is what you typically get in games when there is no time wasting.
They were allowed to kill the tempo from the very outset with their gamesmanship.

We were very short on ideas though and our lack of depth was exposed.

As **** as their tactics were, we weren't good. We were really rubbish up front. Still top of the league, city still have to win their games.

Still 2 points clear at the top. We'll beat Palace and Newcastle.
They say our days are numbered were not famous anymore but Scousers rule the country like we've always done before!

Or the home defeat to Southampton, draw to Villa, Toure's cock-up against West Brom, Allen's horror miss at Goodison, Gerrard's slip against Chelsea.

Disappointing result, but it's not over. Let's not throw on the towel yet we're still in a strong position.

I'd let those terrible refereeing performances slide to the back of my mind.

                              Could be so costly.
