God I hope not. Can't see it. I think it will pretty similar but maybe with Sturridge in for Lucas.

Lets hope the 8 days have enabled Sturridge to have recovered the use of his 2nd leg and that he can start in place of Lucas.

I'm still laughing at that banner now, it's properly tickled me I really hope he doesn't see it. It will destroy whatever fragile bit of self confidence he has left

Tony Pulis insists his Crystal Palace team will 'have a right go' at Liverpool despite securing Premier League survival

Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis has warned Liverpool his side won’t roll over in Monday’s crucial clash.

Brendan Rodgers’ side must win at Selhurst Park to keep the pressure on Manchester City and Chelsea in the Barclays Premier League title race going into the final weekend of the season.

In contrast, Palace have secured their top-flight place for next season and can relax ahead of the clash against Liverpool and the final day match versus Stoke.

But the baseball cap wearing, James Beattie headbutting whilst naked Pulis insists his side will not take their foot off the gas on Monday night.

‘We’ve got a couple of niggles, but I will try to keep the same team that has made us successful. We have that responsibility.

‘Liverpool can win the league but it’s more concerning for me that we have a right go at them.’

He added: ‘Brendan has done an excellent job but there has also been a lot of investment at Liverpool.

‘Kenny Dalglish spent heavily on players like [Luis] Suarez and [Jordan] Henderson, who has flourished this season.

‘Brendan has spent as well. The fact they have had minimal midweek games has helped, too
‘But he has done a smashing job at Liverpool - he’s put his identity on the football club.’

If Sturrdge isn't fit, I'd start Aspas in his place. Yes, Aspas!

Rodgers gives latest on Sturridge fitness

Brendan Rodgers has confirmed Liverpool will check on the fitness of Daniel Sturridge over the next two days ahead of Liverpool's trip to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace on Monday evening.

The England international sustained a small hamstring strain during the Reds' 3-2 victory over Manchester City on April 13 and was subsequently withdrawn from action midway through the second half.

The 24-year-old did not travel to Norwich City for the following fixture; however, he returned as a 58th-minute substitute as Rodgers' side slipped to a 2-0 defeat against Chelsea at Anfield on Sunday.

Reporters pressed the manager for an update on Sturridge's condition during his pre-match press conference on Friday, and Rodgers revealed the forward will now be assessed to determine his role on Monday.

"We'll see over the next 48 hours," said the manager. "He hadn't trained since he got injured in the [Manchester City game], so it was a bit much [against Chelsea].

"He had worked really hard to get back and we needed something on the bench that could support us and help us in the game but unfortunately, it wasn't to be.

"But he's certainly in a much better place. He's worked tirelessly this week with the medical team. He re-joins the group and we'll see how he is come Monday."

Sounds like he will be on the bench again
