I am going hammer and tongs at all the gloating Mancs and bluenoses, the amount of smugness is amazing, **** them. Time to come out fighting, head held high. Last night is past now, lesson learned. We should be happy, our season lasted past September and the team has now been blooded properly. We may finish 3rd now which is one place higher than planned.
**** them all, we are Liverpool. Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.
Those that killed her, were following the law.

It's ridiculous that you can feel any kind of smugness over another team when you finish ~20 points from another team and outside European places. wtf?!?!Originally posted by kev776 View PostI am going hammer and tongs at all the gloating Mancs and bluenoses, the amount of smugness is amazing, **** them. Losing a three goal lead in ten minutes in a crucial game is a pretty embarrassing thing to happen. It does kind of stand alone as a bit of an epic fail. **** spurs though.Originally posted by Darkon View PostIt's ridiculous that you can feel any kind of smugness over another team when you finish ~20 points from another team and outside European places. wtf?!?!

Those rival fans are massive cunts. I remember Man City snatching the title from Man U on the final day and simply felt happy that the former won. I mean, how could one gloat -- every other fan would have loved to be in Man U's position that day, challenging till the last.I wear my heart on my profile name.

Of course, it was a momumental **** up last night - no doubt. I can see why you would laugh at it from the other side, but feeling smug about us not winning the title 1 week before season closing when you are mid table I just don't get!Originally posted by Kenneth View PostLosing a three goal lead in ten minutes in a crucial game is a pretty embarrassing thing to happen. Totally totally gutted but there is no way I'm laying into the team or any of the players. No way. These players have taken us this far with a threadbare squad and it has been the most exciting league season since the 80s.
I also didn't feel it was that big a choke. We were pouring forward looking for more goals. We were looking for more goals. Everyone was thinking the same....let's get 5 or 6. Naive maybe, but we live by the sword and die by the sword and it finally caught up with us.
I am so gutted though. Hardly slept last night. In shock tbh. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Yep. Johnson was ****ed. He'd had a fantastic 70 minutes tearing up and down the line. In the first half he was often our most advanced player yet still got back and did some sound defensive work. He was bollocksed for those last 20. So was Lucas. Both understandable. No way am I going to hang anyone out to dry after a season like this. Every single one of us - every single last one of us - would've snatched someone's offered off if offered 2nd in August. Most us of were unsure if 4th was possible. I am devastated but I repeat no ****ing way am I lashing out at any one player, our defence, Rodgers, whatever. No chance. This is a great little squad - let's make some additions, tear it up again next season and go one step further.Originally posted by Chazza View PostHe didn't have a great 20mins but had **** all cover all night.
That is a problem with the diamond midfield if you don't have loads of energy in the teamThanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Totally agree. We've mounted a title challenge with barely 13 legitimate outfield players. There is a lot of room for improvement in this team and the squad. I can totally understand the frustration and depression at missing out this way. I feel it too, but we have the man to sort it out.

He's ace. This team is ace, and we're winning the title next year. By a mile. Quote me.Originally posted by Reece View PostGood posts Shaggy - kind of sums up how I feel in terms of not really finding it within me to criticise the players or anything. We're way ahead of where we should be at this point.
And JD - great to see the turnaround of your opinion of Rodgers over the course of the season
