Well he did score four own goal so there's four right there, I'd hazard a guess at about 8 for him.Originally posted by Muddled View PostNot sure mate, I’ve just half-inched it from the BBC website. I’ve done a quick Google, but I couldn’t break it down any further.
If you tend to agree with Chris and LFC~History, 14. If you tend to side with DanPerkins, zero.

EDIT: Fierce is all over it.

That's great news. How much is it worth being in the Champions League this year, did I read somewhere that it's worth at least £50m? The extra money can only be a good thing, it's fantastic that we're a much more financially stable club than we were just a few seasons ago. Not sure how close we were to being bankrupt, but we're in an excellent position now by the looks of things.

As an aside by my calculations next season will be Liverpool's 100th season in the top tier of English football.
Only Everton (112) and Aston Villa (104) will have had more than us once the 2014/15 season gets underway.
I wonder if anyone at the club has noticed?
Be nice if they added the wording "100 Seasons In The Top Flight" under the LFC badge on Liverpool kit next season as a commemoration

What about Arsenal? They're the only team never to have been relegated arnt they as the season they did the league was suspended because of the war and they were put back in the top flight on the resumption of the leagues if my Bitter mates are correctOriginally posted by ChrisDR1968 View PostAs an aside by my calculations next season will be Liverpool's 100th season in the top tier of English football.

Despite work hours dragging me of Est for large chunks of time, I didn't miss a minute of the matches this year... incredibly disappointed not to have won it, but proud we are back near the top and will be in the CL.
BR wanted to add 20 goals to the team last summer- well, we've done that. If we can stay on pace there and shave 20 off the goals allowed, we'll be top again soon.

Don't think it's quite that simple. We'll see a lot more teams parking the bus against us next season and won't score quite so many.Originally posted by BrooklynRed View PostBR wanted to add 20 goals to the team last summer- well, we've done that. We definitely need to improve defensively, and I think we will.
It will be a a defining season for Rogers, going in with teams prepared against us, no longer a surprise package. However I have faith in him to pull it off.

Yes, I meant it more as a priority and less as a literal "stay at 100+ goals and shave 20 off the goals allowed"... I don't think that's realistic. However, we need a long look at our defenders and the set-up on defense.Originally posted by EwarWoo View PostDon't think it's quite that simple. I think, bus parked or not, we can break down most teams... it's the results against the top 7 that will define us. We need more discipline against the big teams and hope we can overcome the Hull away results and be absolutely clinical in grabbing points when they are there for the taking."Our legacy begets an excellence that surpasses the particulars of who produces it." -- David Carr
