What a season, what a job Brendon and the players have done.

If someone would have said before the season that we'd not only challenge for the title, but take the title challenge to the last game of the season, I'd have laughed.

Considering we spent very little money and have managed to improve and play like we did with the results we got, is unbelievable and I am so proud.

Yes it was in our own hands a few weeks ago but we'll learn from this.

We need to make sure we strengthen and get players in early, then give it another go next year!

Lot of iPad ******s in the crowd today at Anfield.....more than usual. Always something I've associated with Stamford Bridge.

That's the main thing I've taken from this season.

Awesome season, we'll come again, bitter about finishing second to financial dopers, they are no better than Lance Armstrong, even Chelsea are at least trying to comply with the rules.

If we improves the areas that need improving we'll get 100 points next season.

At the end of the day, City deserved it, they were the only team to have the right balance of attack and defense. Hopefully Rodgers looks to rectify that in the summer.

Says a lot about this season that I'm gutted that we've finished second.

7th to 2nd is one hell of a jump though. 2nd to 1st next season?! Hopefully!

Got a great summer to look forward to now, World Cup and then we're back in the Champions League next season. Exciting times.

My final thought at the moment is this...I really dislike Samir Nasri for some reason, his voice really grates on me!

**** it, it's not really been on since we lost to Chelsea. I was gutted, but I'm over it now, and absolutely stoked with the season.

We were involved in a title race and played some amazing football with a wafer thin squad.

Proud of the team and the manager. Can not wait for August.

We have a fantastic (young) attacking line up with the seniority and genius of one of the best players in the world. We have a hugely promising midfield with Hendo and Allen

Defence is weak. Not good enough, not terrible - part of our problems this year caused by such inconsistent starting line ups with no real partnerships developing.

A few new signings and with European football back I think next season could be even more exciting
