And we've also condemned Mourinho to his lowest ever league finish. Attractive, attacking football is the future - thank God. Hopefully the idea of a 'defensive midfielder' as opposed to simply a 'midfielder' will be phased out.

Proud of all of them and Rodgers is the man. Great that all the Soccer Saturday guys were really positive about us
Was ****ed off with Parry and Smith talking of us like failures. Utter bull****
This summer is vital. Hopefully the owners really back Brendan and we can kick on as opposed to another wasted window which sets us back

Incredible effort, Liverpool £ for pound the best team in the league.
Couldn't be prouder.
Totally agree. Aside from the financial point of view we've pushed a team that finished 2nd all the way way with a manager with about 20 years less experience.
Good prospects for the future.

And finished ahead of a team that was third last year and spent 70/80/90 million with a manager who is supposedly one of the best out there.Originally posted by baronvonskidmark View Post

We're ahead of schedule, with our relatively small squad we had no right to be competing for the league title on the final day. The team spirit and Brendan Rodgers' approach to the game have been fantastic, we've been a revelation this season. We're in a great position now to get the additional players we need to really go for it next season.
