Whatever about the new signings, the loss of Sturridge was a hammer blow because his replacements aren't up to it. We've put in some brilliant performance's without Suarez but we can't cope without both. Hopefully he comes back and stays fit until such time as we can find more suitable understudys/partners. It might take some pressure off the beleaguered defence too if the opposition are all consumed with what our attacking quintet are doing.

Mario or Soldado?

Both quite similar situations, not quite suited to playing the lone forward role, but both got better players in behind so playing 2 up top to accommodate them isn't deemed worth it.

I hate to say it, but I probably would swap Balotelli for Soldado.
