George has gone backwards over the last few years. I’m a bit surprised by Christie-Davies, seemed like a pointless transfer at the time but he really impressed me in the Villa game he played.
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06
Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As I compliment him Leighton Stewart loops one over from outside the box, over the top of the keeper into the top right hand corner to seal his hat-trick. Lovely strike.
Have to say the youngsters are playing some fantastic football , pass and move, playing the triangles, reverse passes and all. Great movement. Could be a few more up here.
Dominic "Corners" Corness has just scored his second goal into the top left hand corner, direct from a corner. That's two corking top left hand corner goals direct from a corner by Dominic "Corners" Corness. Amazing stuff.

Super performance with 3 goals from Leighton Stewart and 2, as mentioned before, direct from corners by Dominic "Corners" Corness.
Special mention to Quansah in defence, looking assured with a fine range of passing, Tyler Morton (prize for most medieval name on the day) directing matters from midfield and James "Peasy" Balagizi for his deceptively laconic style up front.
I've just been informed that Dominic's nickname is actually "The Wand" in midfield. Apparently because of the magical qualities of his left foot.
