It's actually all completely wrong. There was a strong rumour he'd be playing today to aid his recuperation but it looks like it might be on Friday instead. Don't go chuffing a sub on LFCTV in order to see him tonight as you'll be disappointed.

Talking of disappointment, Everton score. We lose the ball in midfield and it's pushed out to the right. A good pass across the face of goal and it's tapped in at the far post.

Christy Davis is giving the ball away and passing short, a shaky start. Talking of shakey starts, LFCTV is playing up and going offline a lot.

After a bit of bobbling in the Everton box Ben Woodburn hooks it miles wide. Everton break up the other end and fire just wide.

Hoever has quite the cross on him I have to say. Everton are the better side here though, better passing, running and shape. Our quality hasn't been good so far. Neil Critchley looks livid.

Woodburn with a little bit of something there, receiving the ball in the Everton box, looping it over his own head and hitting it on the turn. Can't get any power though.

Everton get another chance with their number 9 heading it just over the bar from another decent cross. If he's under 23 I'm a monkey's uncle, he looks like Kris Kristofferson.

Great pass by Johnstone from the back up to Lewis on the right, he crosses and as the ball comes out Hoever drives it over the bar.

Camacho should have passed to Curtis Jones who was in much the better position. Instead he lofts into orbit. Curtis Jones "lets him know". We're getting into it a bit more now.

The commentators are showering Camacho with some fulsome onanistic praise but I don't see it. Often he doesn't look up, shoots when he should pass and slows down massively when he gets the ball to feet. Some of his teammates are giving him the stink eye here.

Half time and we're one nil down. To be absolutely fair we've been pretty ****, misplaced passed, misjudged balls and a lack of quality generally. We nearly gifted them another right at the end through a goalkeeping error but they shot wide.

Lewis and Hoever look good, perhaps Johnstone and Curtis Jones, but the others haven't been good enough. Klopp's there so hopefully he gives them a rollicking at half time, the shower of puddings.
