Second half has been us running up the pitch putting on the pressure without forcing the keeper to make a save once and Everton hitting us on the break. This has been a good defensive performance by Everton meeting a poor attacking one by us. Hang on a minute....

Camacho sprints up but a heavy touch puts Everton onto a counter attack where they are a smidge away from scoring, only Johnstone's heroics preventing a goal.

To make things worse Francis Jeffers is on the sidelines, the jug-eared thundercunt.

And as I'm spraying my chips liberally with vinegar Everton score again. Layers and layers.... Very poor display from us.

Game over and Everton win 0-2. Broadhead scored both but really they could have had more. We did not play well, our passing and decision making poor and we looked disjointed as a team. The kids have done well in parts this season but tonight they let down their coach, their club, and worst of all, themselves.

I'm not even angry with them. Just disappointed.

There's no resemblance apart from a slight tinge of slack-jawedness. He's decent though. Relies on strength and size a bit, which can sometimes count against them when they step up to the men's teams.

Cool it’s live on LFCTV or there’s a replay at 930am Saturday morning QLD time.

Absolute shocking challenge on Hoever there. Be lucky to get up from that.

Lewis played the holding midfield role & it’d be between him & Curtis Jones for MOTM for me followed by Camacho for his 2nd half showing. Apparently this was Nat Phillips comeback after 3-4 months out & he did very well in his 45 min hitout.

We’ve got another Spanish LB in Wanma (sp?) formerly from Barca & unfortunately he had a nightmare of Moreno proportions. His man skinned him so many times but fortunately they couldn’t cash in on his good work.

Hoever started poorly but got better as the match went on despit copping some rough attention. One tackle should have been a red but the ref bottled it. I’d never seen Randal play in central midfield before but he did ok I suppose. Woodburn did ok & got an assist but he looks rusty & needs a few goals for his confidence. Lewis on the other hand oozed confidence & kept it simple with beautiful passing to feet to get us started so often. Curtis Jones got a double, the 1st was all him as he pressured the CB in possession & nicked it off him to slot it home. Camacho got the 2nd & Jones the 3rd. A howler from Kelleher on a cross saw him knock it into his own net when under no pressure at all, but despite that he had a strong match. 3-1 it finished.

Police are investigating after Liverpool FC goalkeeper Shamal George was attacked outside a bar.

The 21-year-old, who plays for the Liverpool's under-23 squad, was injured at the Red Door bar in the city centre at about 02:00 GMT on Saturday.

Mr George and his brother, 28, suffered cuts to their faces and needed hospital treatment.

Merseyside Police is appealing for information and said they will look at CCTV in their search for the attackers.

One of the offenders is described as a white man, of stocky build, who was wearing a white t-shirt.

Another attacker was said to have been wearing a black jacket.

Born in Wirral, Shamal George joined Liverpool in 2009. He has played on loan at Carlisle United and Tranmere Rovers.

A Liverpool FC spokesman said the club was "shocked and appalled that Shamal and a family member have been subjected to such a terrible ordeal".

"As a club, we will offer Shamal and his family any support that they require.

"The matter is now in the hands of Merseyside Police and we will defer all enquiries to them. We would also urge anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
