Well, that's it, Liverpool 4-4 Norwich.
Bit of a disaster really. 3-0 up. Maybe complacency set in, maybe Norwich upped their game. Either way we lost our shape, our tactical discipline and ultimately threw the 3 points away. On the positive side this team has talent, and plenty of goals. We don't give up, even when we're ****. Hopefully this disappointment will serve them well in years to come.
My father told me that as a young lad in Liverpool he had to play against a rival school team for a cup. Despite every effort they lost 3-2 after giving it their all. As the kids came off they were greeted by their fathers who gave them a manly hair-ruffle and soft words of encouragement. My own dad, shattered, was greeted with "What a shower of puddings" and a shake of the head from his old man.

England played Holland last night, 1-1. From the highlights England looked very good, some useful youngsters there. Thankfully two of them are ours, though they were put in positions they couldn't show their full wares.
Arnold was the back tip of a diamond 4 and Herbie Kane was on the right. Not much shown from Herbie, but if he's being picked for the first team despite so much other talent around he must have something the coaches like.
Arnold looks like he just wants to take everyone on (a bit like MOTM Willock) but did well to curb his natural game for the position he was playing. He's certainly got good control, dribbling ability and a brilliant burst of pace. Hopefully we'll see more of it in the next game.One tit for another.
