But yeah get TAA on for clyne as if that was Clyne shooting it would be in row z or he wouldn't have even took the shot but tried to cut back inside and play a sideways pass or cut back inside for a left foot swing! Don't mean to rip in to Clyne too much here but when he get's into good positions it just feels he turn back and goes back towards his own half lol TAA's shot was full on Conviction in comparison!

I think training up attacking fullbacks is the way to go - look at Chelsea and Tottenham. I agree we need a coherent back four, but composure could mean different things. Alexander Arnold looks pretty decent on the ball and his energy looks good. Not sure that I would want to experiment in this top 4 shoot out though.

Put Alonso and Moses as actual FBs in a back four and everyone would be having field days against Chelsea every match. TAA is defensively as good as either of those two at least.

Wingbacks are by nature attacking with a defensive side, but that is a whole change in formation and strategy. With either 3 at the back or a Masch/Dier type in midfield filling in while the FB's attack (That player isn't Lucas, OK?).

The first thing I want from my FB's is solid defending, difficult to get past, block crosses, don't give away silly fouls. Then they need to be competent in possession and mobile. Pinpoint crossing and finishing is gravy and those that can do that as well as the basics are few and far between, Alves, Lahm, Zaballetta etc.

Apparently, now we have qualified for the champions league our youth teams also get to play in the equivalent as well so it will be exciting times next season for the kids, learning how to say **** off ref in many other languages under their breath so as they won't be told off.

I think we are always trying too hard to profit on every deal, often at the expense of football side of things. Allan would have been well served to stay there for another year, doesn't he have to play in the same country to get a work permit?

Hertha are pushing for Europe/CL, he is nowhere near good enough to hold a full time slot in their team. A strange choice to send him there, he should be at a much smaller club near the botton of the BL.

I see we don't seem to have a player in the U-21 Euro squad. Technically none at the u-20's either. Doesn't seem too long ago we had a captain at almost every level and quite a few other regulars.
