Brannagan overplays his hand and ends up fouling, Ojo should have kept the ball wide right instead of going inside to Branners

HT 1-0 but its a 0-0 game really. Both sides able to knock it about but creating few clear cut chances and only the odd spell of sustained pressure. Liverpool need to get the ball to Ojo, who two or three times has been the obvious attacking angle but the ball has not been moved out to that right flank and has gone either left or into the congested middle

Well, we're winning but that's about it. Spurs have had some pressure but there has only really been one ball to save so far (and it wasn't...).

It looks like Townsend deal to Newcastle is as good as done, not sure either club would want him to get tackled badly in an U21 game.

Sinclair clipped, no card again! Free kick 22 yards out, blocked. Ball dribbles over goal line keepers ball.

Liverpool had the ball in a great spot and then overplayed it and lost possession.

Liverpool showing some intent though with Ojo doing well but comes to nothing.

Ojo forces corner, Branners whips it in, Stewart with the goal attempt

Stewart wins free kick centrally, taken Enrique, booted out thrown in.

The pitch is a bit heavy/slippy in part.

Amos finally gets a card after third fowl in quick succession - on Kent this time.

            Its all Liverpool now.

Another fowl by Amos, another free kick about 30 yards out, Branners to Caulker. Cleared

Ah Virtue - Ojo - Sinclair at goal, keeper holds.

                Spurs under huge pressure

Enrique is in full libero mode.

Brannagan is all action tonight, very little has not involved him.

Kent ought to have scored there.

Chiverella pressure, then Ojo to Sinclair who scuffs a shot.

Injured Jack Dunn coming on for Sinclair

Spurs free kick just outside LFC area, Stewart yellow. Just wide by Townsend who will be a Newcastle player tomorrow.

Kevin Stewart is off - another yellow with 12 minutes to play.

All Spurs now really with the extra man.

Ojo has really worked hard tonight, he has got back to help the defence several times.

                      O'Hanlon for Kent

Liverpool defence just about holding Spurs at bay.

                        Mis-hit cross gathered by Boggers.

Working hard, aren't they? Lots of pressing.

Ojo off for Harry "other Welsh Messi" Wilson

Sheyi Ojo has had a fine night on the right wing but I'd like to see him central.

                            FT 2-0 Kent and Ojo

Good game in the second half, the pressing malarky has clearly filtered down the the Academy. A lot of running and harrying high up the pitch tonight.

Ojo, Virtue, Hart, Brannagan would be my picks from the game.
