Firstly I've not really seen the other games live. But it was just a few moments from him for me that highlighted what he can do. He's rapid! I think he might be as fast as Markovic to be honest. He's strong and capable of bullying players. He's technically very good. There's a very good player in there and that's why he stole the show for me. Very promising indeed.

Looking forward to seeing him play and I hope he's fabulous for us. That said it's notable today that twitter is aglow about his potential and I wonder whether this is to counter the Remy blow.

Really? I thought it was the poorest of his 3 matches (and I didn't see the 2nd, haha). It's not that he was actually poor, but bar that one run he didn't really get involved.

I was thinking that he could be some player. Mentality looks good as well. Just hope he doesn't fill out too much as he gets older. I used to love Georgi Kinkladze who used to play for city, but his physique became a hindrance to his football in the end.

i dont think we will see the best of markovic and Can until the beginning of next season or at the earliest back end of this one.

young lads who come from foreign leagues need time to adapt and we're expecting markovic to be the next flag bearer for LFC immediately. Its unfair on the lad.

same for Can, looks very good when we have the ball and not so when we dont but both have plenty of potential but need time and patience.

for now we're just going to have to put up with raheem sterling instead.
