My only concern with him is if he has the mental strength to make it at this level. He seems shy...hopefully I'm wrong. The scouting team should have picked up on that before we considered buying him.

I'd be gutted if we gave up on him already - he seems to have bags of potential to me. Agree on comments above about confidence/shyness but surely that is worth investing more than one season's worth of time on. Makes a bit of a mockery of the whole "model" if you give up that quickly on a young player.

A wierd one if true. I think markovic could replace Raheem sterling and to consider selling him after one season and less than 20 appearances is ridiculous.

He doesn't look lightweight, or not up for the fight. Maybe when he first got here but he certainly didn't thereafter.

It probably means that Rodgers stays and he gets rid of all the players he doesn't want including markovic.

Rodgers is as much a judge of a player as I am a fan of Rodgers

He should be given another season, no question, but he'll still probably end up being a flop.

                You mean Markovic right?

If he played the last 2 months instead of Raheem sterling who did nothing we would be having a different conversation now. He would be the one to take over from the ****bag.

                      WTF?

                      Spend £20m on him.

                      Play him at wing-back.

                      Sell him?

Missed that one. This is just plain stupid, I'd rather give him the chance and sell Sterling. Seems like we are contriving to **** things up for good. Keeping Sterling and potentially creating more distractions, selling Markovic after playing more often as a wingback than winger, buying midtable dross, keeping Rodgers and Kolo etc.
                      * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

You're kidding right? Look at the picture of him in ladies clothes, legs as thin as Kate Moss.

Saying that I'd definitely hope that second season would see more of the player we hoped we had signed. Needs to build his core strength so he can cope with the physical aspect of the game.

He's done nothing to suggest that would be the case. And he hasn't always played as a wing back.

Exactly. It would be an absolute joke to sell him after one season on the back of spending £20m on him and playing him out of position

Although you could argue he deserves to be sold for those clothes alone.

YOU could do. I on the other hand thought he looked rather snazzy.
