True but Sterling's situation was very different. He didn't come from a foreign league... which can be a big issue with a lot of players to adapt. Sterling kind of burst on to the scene & then had his slump.

There's also was few years in the difference to when both first appeared for LFC. Sterling made his debut at 17... Markovic at 20 and with league titles under his belt & with a wee bit of a price difference.

Markovic will get time & rightly so.. but he has looked **** so far
