It would be damning of the TC and Rodgers as a coach if he is shipped out on whatever basis.

Yeah he's looked so good. From day one he was like a rabbit in the headlights. Scared ****less. He has ability no question but I don't think physically or mentally he was ready to come here. He may not be a wingback but I wouldn't trust him enough to play in his more natural position right now. So maybe its time to send him back, ideally if we think he may come good and we can afford to, we would loan him somewhere for a season to get his confidence back. But I don't think we have the money to do that.

Didn't see too much of Markovic before he joined us but the little that I did see, he did look an exciting talent. Judging him purely on him time at LFC is difficult, he has been pretty awful but he also has been played out of position.

Kid definitely has ability but he does look a bit fragile in the premier league. Could be one of those players that is successful outside the premier league & just doesn't suit the style and tempo of the league. IMO it would have been a lot easy to judge, if Rodgers had of played him in his proper position.....then at least we would have a better idea of where he's at.

Problem with that dan, about Rodgers playing him in his natural position is there are other better players in front of him. Plus Rodgers sees him in training he obviously felt he was ready to be put in such a pivotal position. Much like can who looked lost in the centre, I think Rodgers is right in introducing these players slowly in different positions. It gets them game time for a start. Can got rave reviews at centre back. Hopefully he will use that to kick on. Lazar reminds me of that lad at spurs, they just aren't ready for this league.

This club is being run by complete and utter buffoons. Every time we come close to winning the league **** completely hits the fan and we have to start all over again.

To be fair Bob, Rodgers has played players all over the place, including Can ... who struggled hugely in the last 3 months or so of the season.

But yeah I do agree that maybe the league isn't for him, I would have just wished he played Markovic in a more attacking role, just so we could get a better idea if he is up for it.

It's a tough one to know. I suppose we aren't seeing whats going on in training etc. But there is that danger of getting rid and him turning out to be a great player.

Really and truly though, even if he has been played out of position, there has been little in the way of positives. Maybe the premier league isn't for him.

I think a lot depends on what we do formation-wise. If we aren't going to play with a front three (4-3-3 of 3-4-3) it is hard to see how we will get the most out of Markovic. Oddly the same applied but with a necessity of a 4-4-2 for Ballotelli. I don't think we have had a squad that looks like it was built deliberately rather than assembled at random for more than a season since the second to last season of Rafa's reign.
