There's a lot that needs to be addressed in the summer and cutting our loses on Lovren is one.

Aa much as I think this lads is **** and there's a whole host of areas we need improvement in, I still believe we need to spend every penny on goals this summer. Look at the rest after that but scoring plentiful goals will cover a lot of deficiencies in this league.Comment

Lovren and Moreno's positioning yesterday were absolutely brutal. I couldn't quite believe what was I seeing. I think it was Palace's second goal, where they were both all over the place, and not even in a defensive line, but ball chasing instead.Comment

Lovren is a lost cause, Moreno has got a lot of defensive work to do in the summer as his defensive positioning and decision making has been pretty awful.Comment

Pointless signing, £20m down the pan. I can't honestly think of one justification for him. Sakho plays left side, Wisdom probably has a higher ability ceiling than him, Ilori was bought for £8m and sent out on loan and Coates is a big lumbering oaf but doesn't look any worse than this bloke.
The worst regularly picked central defender I have ever seen at the club. £20m that could have gone towards getting a proper Suarez replacement. Who trusts those charged with player recruitment for next season? Not me.Comment

Exactly. Someone at the club no doubt scouted him and thought he was worth £20m. Whoever that was should be sacked. IMO this is worse than the Carroll transfer.
If I was the owner of a club and we had wasted £20m on a players who offers nothing I would be furious and would want answers.
We'd be lucky to get £5m for him. I'd have rather have kept Agger. Pointless signing.Comment
