Being originally from Cork and having gone to uni there the language is off the charts

I had a good friend from Cork. He taught me all about the term the 'langers'. Surely the most versatile word around. Langerload, case of the langers, a langer, langered, etc. I'm lead to believe the turn of phrase of this nature isn't commonly used outside of Cork.
