Those passes from the back were not helping at all either. For some reason his football is simpler and he's playing better, I don't think it's a case of him needing a year to bed in, he didn't need a year to bed in at Southampton and knew the league.

Not really. You could say that about any player and if they come good then you are right. If they dont, well then you can just keep saying it incase they do.

Patience has its place and as Mudds have pointed out, with younger players or players with undoubted proven ability on a bad run of form. But with Lovren it was at the point where I wasn't even sure he was a professional footballer.

He was a lost cause for me, and his turnaround has been remarkable.

Similar happening with Ibe too. The amount of people arguing that he was so much better than Sterling despite the fact that Ibe had did sweet **** all and Sterling was a star in our side and still just a teenager, but now Ibe is **** and was always **** and everybody was right all along.

Thankfully Sterling is **** now too though.

Stand by all that, he was terrible when learning to walk, all over the shop. Made Sakho's legs look calm and assured.
