Exactly, so when someone is relentlessly abusing the players there should be no harm in giving them a bit back. Bit weird one is tolerated and the other not, insults are either bad or they aren't.

Its easier to address one person who does it to others directly on the forums.

But the other issue is a wider culture on this forum that we need to work out how to address.

To replace Lovren with the same quality/experience will cost us north of 45m, what money we have needs to be spent on Fekir and or Oblak/ A. N. Other/Allison.

Yeah, Lovren isn't really an issue we need to fix at the moment. On the whole his partnership with VVD was excellent last season and the defence as a whole certainly improved as the season went on with Robbo and TAA/Gomez taking the full back positions.

Keeper would be nice as Karius is going to need the skin of a rhino to get through the first few months if he's still our No1

Thought our defence was very good following the arrival of VVD (and that includes Karius and Lovren - two players I've previously criticised). Shouldn't stop us from looking at better players but the current criticism (of Lovren and Karius) is a bit harsh.

Alex you're wasting your time on Chris hence why he's been on ignore from me for some time. He should be banned from this forum for such posts yet the mods seem to want him around. In this particular instance I've done nothing to merit such abuse and obviously appreciate your response to it but he should be permanently kicked off the forum.

There's been better CB's sold for half of that already. Bonucci is available for that money and only a couple of years older. We could replace him for <£20mil. And get a big improvement for £40mil
