Alex you're wasting your time on Chris hence why he's been on ignore from me for some time. He should be banned from this forum for such posts yet the mods seem to want him around. In this particular instance I've done nothing to merit such abuse and obviously appreciate your response to it but he should be permanently kicked off the forum.

I was going to ask how come its ok for you to call one of our players "a fool" "brainless" "a steaming **** pile" "****ing garbage" and "deluded" in the last few days alone yet you beg the moderators for a ban because someone called you "thick". I mean sure you may read the insult and Degsy may not but for someone who gets so, so offended by words on here and is constantly asking moderators to ban people it seems weird you happily dish them out regarding others.

World Cup 2018: France did not play football, says Croatia's Dejan Lovren

Croatia defender Dejan Lovren says his side "played much better football" than France in their World Cup final defeat.

The Liverpool centre-back also claimed "France didn't play football".

France, crowned champions for the second time, won a controversial penalty after a review prompted by the video assistant referee.

"They had their one tactic and you have to respect it," said Lovren. "They waited for their chance and scored. They played every game like that."

He added: "I'm disappointed because we lost the game but played much better football than them."

Lovren, who claimed this week he was "one of the best defenders in the world," said Croatia played "beautiful football" and criticised the use of VAR during the tournament.

The second France goal in their 4-2 win came when a flick-on from Samuel Umtiti struck the left arm of Ivan Perisic in the Croatia area.

Argentine referee Nestor Pitana did not award a penalty but, after consulting with the VAR, he then watched it back on a monitor and changed his mind, awarding a spot-kick that Antoine Griezmann scored to give his side a 2-1 lead.

"France have been one of the favourites to win the World Cup and they did. But nobody understands the rules," said Lovren. "Our guy couldn't possibly react so why did the referee give it?

"Of course [VAR] needs to improve. Sometimes it is a penalty and sometimes not. I really don't understand. A lot of people say it's not a penalty but what can we do now?"

Thats rich given Croatia looked **** in every game they played and had by far the easiest route to the final.

The only half decent team they faced were England, and lets be honest, we weren't very good

Chris - haven't had a chance to respond to your earlier post.

Look, I'm getting too old to be arguing on a forum especially with someone who I've never met. I really can't be arsed hence why I've put you (and others) on ignore. It's not something I wanted to do if I'm being brutally honest.

I tried to persist with you as best I could but rather than get drawn in by your posts I just couldn't be bothered anymore. You are probably a sound lad in real life but for whatever reason you seem to piss off and antagonise most people on this forum, that's quite an achievement.

As said I can't really be arsed arguing with you anymore so I'm going to put an olive branch out to you, whether you choose to accept is your decision. I doubt very much you're going to change the way you come across on here. I perhaps shouldn't have called Dejan ****, garbage or whatever else I've called but again I don't see why I should be picked up for this not just from you; but form others as I'm not alone in slating players but from now on I am going to do my level best to not slag a player off although I now feel like I'm being gagged to keep my mouth shout which makes it pointless having a forum in my eyes, can imagine you feel the same not being able to call everyone cunts but there we go.
