Lets hunt down these Manc rats in second. If Chelsea lose at West Ham in the week we win the league.

I'm a bit surprised that even after that our GD is still half of utds!Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostLast Five:
Beat West Ham who were above us at the time.
Drew with Everton after their negative & defensive approach.
Beat Spurs who are a rival for top 4 & were above us.
Beat So'ton - as above.
Beat City, the current champions.
To get 13 points from 15 from those games is an epic performance on all counts.

Nicked elsewhere. I'm fairly confident we'll pip United at least, they have tricky fixtures. If we beat them we could put some heavy pressure on LVG.

Above is a 'reaonably' worst case scenario for us and a 'decent' set of results for the mancs.Originally posted by The_weatherman View PostNicked elsewhere. I'm fairly confident we'll pip United at least, they have tricky fixtures. If we beat them we could put some heavy pressure on LVG.

So even if we have a lacklustre finish to the season, all we need to do is either get more points than the Mancs tonight (which is quite likely) or just beat them at home (which is again achievable).
All the other results should take care of themselves. One tit for another.

Certainly doable and maybe even likely. That's 11 games left and if both sides keep their form up, or something close to it (us doing worse and them better) we should get 22-25 points out of those games and the Mancs around 17-20 I'd think.Originally posted by BigChief View PostAbove is a 'reaonably' worst case scenario for us and a 'decent' set of results for the mancs.

Although i'd much rather us finish 3rd as 4th we'd still have to go through a qualifying round to get into the champions league- and we all know how **** we are in Europe now, imagine us pipping United into 4th at the end of the season with them in 5th- it would be glorious.Originally posted by fah-qDidn't someone once see Philip Schofield ****ting into a crisp packet?

This could all change with every fixture that's played. Imagine we drew with Burnley tonight and our rivals all won. It's then looking difficult again. The fact of the matter is we are still behind them and until we get ahead we can't afford to drop a single point.
What we need to be doing is coming out of that Arsenal away game in the top 4. Do that and I think we've got it nailed.Forwards.......
